While all our pits, attachments and brackets are designed, replicating real aircrafts layout we take in consideration optimal comfort, modularity and full compatibility with all established brands and controls makers on the current market.

imFab modular flight pit concept starts with several basic models covering the essentials at most affordable budget, without compromising quality and craftsmanship.

Base models are suitable for flight sim pilots entering the air field of flight simulation and looking to give it a try at affordable cost. Each of our models has modular design, all scalable and interchangeable with one another, whether preferred setup is focused on combat, general aviation, space sim or hybrid of all.

Our base models are purposed for type of flight simulation as well as types of flight controls sharing similar attachment design. Each of the three base models flight sim pits is scalable by purchasing individual modules.

Each modular flight pit is also interchangeable with one another, offered as add-on kits.

DCS Edition Modular Flight Pit

--- Modular combat flight sim pit “DCS edition”: DCS edition modular flight pit is dedicated combat pit purposed for mostly DCS World modules. Base package is equipped with the following essentials: seat with chassis, side by side HOTAS style mount brackets for stick and throttle, rudder pedal plate, center stick lower mount bracket with ability to mount sticks with grip extension or cyclic for heli sim.

Compatible controls for DCS edition pit base model:

1. Thrustmaster Warthog stick and throttle

2. VirPil Sticks, throttles, control panels

3. VKB Gunfighter stick

4. WinWing stick bases and Orion throttle

Optional add-on modules to flight pit model 2:

*Certain add-ons require our “Advanced modular side mount kit” a.k.a AMSM

Configuration #10 (to be released in March, 2023)

Bracket kit allows shared mounting of multiple controls on either side of user’s cockpit or flight pit. Individual adjustment and quick “hot swap” of controls enhances the modular concept of SimFab basic design.

Configuration #7: Stick grip extension compatible with Thrusmtster Warthog, Virpil and WinWing sticks

Configuration #11: WinWing Super Taurus throttle bracket assembly kit (requires and part of AMSM package)

MSFS Edition Modular Flight Pit

--- Modular flight pit for civil and general aviation “MSFS edition”: MSFS edition base model is dedicated to civil, general and commercial aviation sim. Essential components include: seat with chassis and mounting brackets for yoke, throttle quadrant, rudder pedals.

MSFS edition modular flight pit base model is compatible with the following controls:

1. Honeycomb Alpha yoke and Bravo throttle quadrant

2. Turtle Beach Velocity One yoke and throttle quadrant

3. Logitech/Saitek yoke and single/dual throttle quadrant with optional Flight Velocity Trim Wheel

4. CH Products yoke and throttle quadrant

Optional add-on brackets:

Configuration #8: Thrustmaster Boeing yoke and throttle quadrant mounting bracket kit.

Configuration #9: Thrustmaster Boeing yoke bracket only.

Hybrid Edition Modular Flight Pit

--- Flight sim pit “Hybrid edition” use with civil, combat and space sim. Flight sim pit hybrid edition is a combination of combat and civil aviation as well as space sim gaming. Essentials cover the following: Seat and chassis with side by side mounting brackets for stick and throttle, rudder pedal plate, standard mounted center stick mounting bracket. Hybrid modular flight pit base model is compatible with the following controls:

1. Thrustmaster HOTAS T.Flight stick and throttle

2. Thrustmaster T16000M stick and throttle

3. Thrustmaster TCA AirBus

DD Modular Racing Sim Cockpit

--- Materials and choice of fabrication

Racing seat:

Full size ergonomic seat with sliders and recliner mechanism. Our seats are full size made with high quality materials: steel internal frame, thick layer of cold cured foam, durable, breathable, and long-lasting upholstery fabric material. Seats are offered in six vibrant colors of choice: black, red, blue, orange, green and yellow. In addition we offer limited edition colors as well as customer choice custom color as per pantone chart. Our patented seat base design includes removable foam insert for optional lowered center flight stick or heli cyclic mount bracket. Slanted shaped cutout allows full motion of the stick without protruding into the seat foam while being at correct arm reach distance.

Frame (chassis):

Our preferred choice of framing and mounting brackets is 1.8 -2mm thick carbon steel telescopic tubing. While extruded aluminum is widely popular, we find carbon steel tubing more customizable material as far as fabrication, welding and manipulating (bending, forming cutting). Well fabricated material shows the craftsmanship and quality of hand work while extruded aluminum is more of a do-it-yourself material which comes at higher cost and limited fabrication properties. Our adapter plates are made of 4-6mm thick, 5052 alloy aluminum plate.

Finish: Our metal parts are finished with sandblasted and then zinc plated treatment or durable powder coating. Our local fabrication shop in Florida offers customization of specific brackets or powder coating color per customer’s request.

Complete multipurpose and modular hybrid rig with modular sim racing and flight sim capabilities. Complimented with standalone single monitor mount stand.

Featuring: Fanatec sim racing gear, VirPil flight sim gear, Samsung G9 49" ultra wide monitor, Logitech surround speakers, keyboard and mouse, Buttkicker shaker.

Available in single, triple or any odd number of monitors added horizontally or vertically. Our patented design of monitor mounts covers any size monitors or TV sets from 24" to 65".
